Knowledges + The aims: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will know how to write personal letters + Vocabulary: Vocabulary of places. + Grammar: - The tense: simple present tense, past simple tense , present perfect and simple future tense. Write activities, interesting places which ss know or are on holiday. 2. Skills : Listening, writing skills and grammar 3. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to write personal letters B. Preparations 1.Teacher : posters, computer 2. Students: Unit 1 Write C. Pre- writing ( 9 minutes) Pre-questions; - Set the scene: Imagine you are visiting your relatives or friends in another part of Viet Nam or in a different country. - Hang a poster on the board with questions - Run through the questions 1. Where are you now? How did you get there? 2. Who did you meet? 3.What have you done? 4. What places have you visited? 5.What kinds of food have you tried? 6.What souvenirs have you bought? 7. How do you feel now? 8. What do you think interest you most? 9. When are you returning home? - Give instructions: Now you have to answer these questions. -What are you going to do now? - Ask ss to answer the questions in pairs, - Give feedback: Ask ss to give their ideas. 2. While- writing ( 16 minutes) - Ask ss to write a letter to their family, telling them about their visit, use the out line in the book. - Give feedback: ask ss to give their ideas 3. Post- writing ( 13 minutes) * Correction: Choose two letters from 2 groups to correct in class -Listen - T whole class - Listen -Remind the teacher’s instructions. - Answer the questions in pairs 1. I have tried chicken, fish , salads and Hanoi speciality.I bought some books, toys and clothes.I feel tired but very happy and relaxed. The people here are so friendly and nice. The food is delicious and the sights are so beautiful. I think going swimming in a beautiful swimming pool interests me most.I am returning home at 5pm next Thursday.
