The team which has more words will win the game. III. New lesson: Step 1: Presentation 1 - Set the scene: Tim's mother went to his school to know about Tim's study. Miss Jackson said to Tim's mother: Please give Tim this dictionary. Tim's mother came home. She said to Tim: Miss Jackson told me to give you this dictionary. - Set the scene: Tim's mother went to his school to know about Tim's study. Step 2: Practice 1 Word Cue Drill: (Language focus 3 / 53 ) - Have Ss work in pairs to do exercise . - Give feedback a. Miss Jackson asked me to wait for her outside her office . b. Step 3: Presentation 2( Reported Speech) - Set the scene: Miss Jackson said to Tim's mother: Tim should work harder on his Spanish pronunciation. Tim's mother reported it to Tim: Miss Jackson said you should work harder on your Spanish pronunciation . => Form: S + said + (S + should + V-inf ....) Use: to report an advice. Step 4: Practice 2 Word Cue Drill: (Language focus 4 / 53 ) - Have Ss work in pairs to do exercise . - Call on some Ss to practice in pairs and correct pronunciation . - Give feedback a. Mục tiêu: Sau khi hoàn thành bài học, học sinh có thể - Nói về kế hoạch, dự định trong tương lai. - Yêu cầu để được giúp đỡ. - Đưa ra đề nghị để giúp đỡ người khác. 2. Trọng tâm ngôn ngữ: - Present simple with future meaning - Gerunds - Modals: may, can, could 3. Từ vựng: Các từ theo chủ điểm: Young pioneers club. - To encourage, to register… - an application, citizenship, co-education, voluntary… * Lưu ý: Đối với học sinh yếu cần nắm được cách nói: Yêu cầu được giúp đỡ (asking for favors) và cách đáp lại. Đưa ra đề nghị giúp đỡ người khác (offering assistance). - Học sinh khá có thể làm một bài đối thoại tương tự theo tình huống cho sẵn. - Bài viết 2 có thể giao về nhà cho học sinh hoàn thành. 4.
