Presentation (10’) a.Aims: Help students understand the resquest of the listening lesson . b.Contents: Students guess and fill in the missing words in the dialogue c.Outcome: Students can apply to do the exetcise. d.Organization: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Set the scene: ? How many people are there in the picture? ? Who are they ? What are they talking about The doctor is talking to Hoa to get the information from her. Guess and fill in the missing words in the dialogue A2 on page 108. Prediction (A2 P.108) - Have Ss work individually to predict the missing words before listening. Time to predict: 4 minutes. - Give feedback - Listen - Work individually 3.Activity 3: Practice ( 18') a.Aims: Help Ss to undersatnd the content of the lesson. b.Contents: listen to the cassette to check their predictions, model sentences: How tall/ How heavy. c.Outcome: Ss’ answers d.Organization: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities - Ask Ss to listen to the cassette to check their predictions. - Get feedback - Have Ss practice the dialogue . Practice skill: - practice speaking skill and writing skill. 2. Basic language: - Vocabulary: (to) have a bad cold , (to) have a headache , (to) have a virus , (to) have stomach ache , (to) have flu , (to) write a sick note - Structure: What's wrong with you? - I have a headache. + Standard knowledge: Practice reading and answer questions B1, make similar dialogues. + Advanced knowledge: Retell the content of the conversation. 3.
