Competence: - General capacity:self-learning ability, communication capacity, capacity to use language, cooperation capacity,… - Specilized capacity:English language ability, develop self capacity,.. 3. Quality: Love family and country, willing to participate in social activities, live humanty, cooperate with people around,… II.Preparation: 1, Teacher's: text book, teacher’s book, sub-boards, pictures, cues 2, Students': text book, note book, chalks, pens T &S's activities The content of the lesson ACTIVITY 1 (WARM-UP) (5’) a. Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period. b. Content: Active words and structures c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures d. Organization: 1. Warm up - Show the picture with 8 activities and ask Ss what are the people doing in the pictures? - Whole class - Corrections 2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’) a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words d. Organization: 2. Presentation -TM: Play game, practising, discussion group, technical present…. -C: Co-operation, communication,… -Q: Love family, friends and country * Pre- teach vocab: - Elicits and models . -Ask Ss to repeat chorally and individually . - Check R .O.R -Copy in note book *Set the scene: We are going tolisten and read the text of Liz's trip to the countryside so think of the question: What did, Liz Ba and his family do on journey to his hometown? - Read the text and ask Ss to look at the book * T/F statements prediction: - ASk Ss to read the statements on page 23 then read the text and decide which is true and which is false . - Give feedback and correct 3. ACTIVITY 3: PRACTICE (20’) a. Aim: Helps students to speak and listen, understand the tasks b. Content: - answer the questions in the questionaire. c. Outcome: ss can do the task correctly d. Organization: 3. Practice: -TM: Play game, practising, discussion group, technical present…. -C: Co-operation, communication,… -Q: Love family, friends and country * Ask Ss to read and check their prediction. - Give feedback and correct * Answer the questions: -Ask Ss to work in groups to answer the questions. - Ask Ss to write the answers in the study cards. - Call some Ss answer the questions before the class. - Teacher corrects. 4. ACTIVITY 4: APPLICATION (5’) a. Aim: Stundents apply the knowledge they learnt in practice b. Content: Discussion c. Outcome: students’s talks d. Procedure: I/ Warm up : Networks (3’) a) Objective: Introduce the new lesson and set the scene for Ss to acquire new language; get students' attention at the beginning of the class by enjoyable and short activities as well as to engage them in the follow-up steps. b) Content: Review names of ideas about the city or the country . c) Expected outcomes: Ss remember names of ideas about the city or the country that they are going to talk about in the lesson. d) Organization of the activity: - Remark and lead in the new lesson . III / New lesson : Step 1: Pre – Speaking : (10’) a) Objective: Ss prepare for what they are going to write about. b) Content: - Speaking: Discuss what you think about their own home village - Asking and answering the questions about planning for joining an extreme sport activity. c) Expected outcomes: Ss can use some adjectives to talk about their own home village d) Organization of the activity: Introduce the aims of the lesson and ask Ss to do the exercise “ Matching “ A B 1. Where is your school ? a. It takes 30 minutes . 2. How far is it from your home ? b. I go there by bus . 3. How do you get to school ? c. It is opposite the post office . 4. How long does it take to get there ? d. Yes, I do . 5. Do you like it ? e. It is about 4 kilometers. - Call on Ss to read their answers aloud . Correct and give answer key : 1.c , 2.e ,3.b 4.a 5.d Step 2. While – speaking :(18’) Introduce “ You have reviewed the commonly used structures . Now you work with a partner . Read the questions .
