Aims: By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to Get “can / can’t” statements and traffic vocabulary to talk about what are allowed and not are allowed to do on the streets. 2. Practice skill: - Practice listening skill,writing, speaking skill. reading skill 3. The knowledge needs to get:. + Standard knowledge: You can park here. You can't turn right. … + Advanced knowledge: Write (using some road signs ) 4. Basic language: *Vocab: can, cannot = can't, one way, turn left, right, to park, go ahead, road signs. *Language: You can park here. You can't turn right. 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to Get “can / can’t” statements and traffic vocabulary to talk about what are allowed and not are allowed to do on the streets. B. Presentation (15’) *Aim: -SS can understand and pronounce the new words well. - T introduce the content of the lesson and the structure. *Methods: R & R, Comprehension questions Individual, group work * Time: 15’ * Procedure 1. Pre teach- vocab: - Elicit somenew words from ss - policeman(n):cảnh sát ( picture) ss: choral, individual - difficult (a):khó , khó khăn repetition. Then copy sign (n):dấu hiệu, biển báo - one-way(n): một chiều - park (v):đỗ xe - turn left / right (v):rẽ trỏi/ phải - go straight( v):đi thẳng Checking vocab : R-O-R - Get ss to copy the words into their books and then ss copy, then close ask them to close the books notebooks - Rub out the new words one at a time. Each time you rub out a word in English, point to the vietnamese translation and ask “what is this in English?”. Ss follow instructions When all the English words are rubbed out, go through the Vietnamese list and get ss to call out the English words 2. Presentation text: C1. Road signs p.89 3. The knowledge needs to get:. + Standard knowledge: MUST & MUSTN’T for obligation / prohibition + Advanced knowledge: Write ( using the road signs ) 4. Basic language: *Vocab: must, mustn't, look to the left, right, dangerous, accident, warn, intersection, slow down, discipline *Language: MUST & MUSTN’T for obligation / prohibition 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to read a text about road signs to understand “must /musn’t” for obligation / prohibition B.
