Aims: - Read the text for details about scuba- diving and use "could/couldn't" to talk about past ability - By the end of the lesson, Ss will have some knowledge about scuba- diving and use "could/couldn't" to talk about past ability 2. Practice skill: - practice comprehension reading skill . 3. The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge: Read the text for details about scuba- diving and use "could/couldn't" to talk about past ability. + Advanced knowledge: Retell the content of the text. 4. Basic language: - Vocabulary: underwater , vessel, (to) explore , (to) invent , special breathing equipment - The tense: simple past tense, could/couldn't. 5. Attitude: - Help ss to have good consciousness in order to read the text for details. Sts will like to know more about the world and protect the oceans. B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks. C.
