Aims: - Further practice with the Will future, Present Simple Tense, prepositions, ordinal numbers. - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to practice more in the Will future, Present Simple Tense, prepositions, ordinal numbers, 2. Practice skill: - Practice writing and speaking skill . 3. The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge: Further practice with the Will future, Present Simple Tense, prepositions, ordinal numbers. + Advanced knowledge: Use the Will future, Present Simple Tense to ask and answer with their friends. 4. Basic language: - The tense: Will future, Present Simple Tense and prepositions, ordinal numbers. 5. Attitude: - Help ss to have good consciousness in order to do some exercies. B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks. C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Guessing, Kim’s game, Nought and crosses, writing D. WARM UP (4 minutes) Bingo - Ask ss to write down on their notebooks five ordinal numbers ( from 1- 20 ) - T prepares a list of ordinal numbers - T calls out each number in a loud voice - SS listen to the teacher carefully, if anyone has the same numbers , they cross them out. The first person crossing out all five numbers shouts ‘ Bingo’ and wins the game. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- III. NEW LESSON Language Focus 1: Present Simple Tense (10’) *Aim: -SS can understand and practice the Present Simple Tense *Methods: gap fill. Group work, Individual * Time: 10’ * Procedure - Remind Ss about usage and form of th present simple. - SS work individually to complete the passages. - SS compare with each other. - T gets students’ answers. - T gives feed back. Write the things Nam will do and the things he won’t do - Divide the class in to two teams, using the cue words to make sentences ( spesking) Language focus 4: Kim’s game : (10’) - Ask ss to look at the pictures on page 39 , try to remember the positions of the cat and then write sentences - SS have 30 seconds to look at the pictures. - SS work in pairs to write sentences in 3 minutes. - Divide the class into two teams.
