Grammar: - Tenses: Present simple, Past simple - Wh-questions: How much? How far? - Regular vs. irregular verbs - Comparatives of adjectives: more, less, fewer 5. The aims of the lesson 1. Knowledge - Use the past simple tense to talk about past activities, write some regular and irregular past verbs. - By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to use the past simple tense. They will know about some of the irregular verbs and regular verbs - Vocabulary: Aquarium, souvenir, gift - structure: The past simple tense : + be / was, were, + have/ had + visit/ visited + take/ took, + buy/ bought, + go/ went + return/ returned + talk/ talked - Notice: (/d/; /t/; /id/) 2. Skills: - To write some regular and irregular past verbs. - Retell the things which Liz did in Nha Trang. - Practice listening, reading and speaking , writing skill. 3. Attitude: - Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading for detalis, doing some exercises. B. Preparations 1.Teacher : posters, computer, speaker, projector. 2. Liz bought a lot of gifts. The Robinsons had a great time in Nha Trang . - Give feedback and correct. 2. Presentation dialogue ( A1.P86 ) - Set the scence: Liz and Ba are talking about her recent vacation in Nha Trang.
