Mô tả: UNIT 7 SAVING ENERGY 1.Mục tiêu: Học sinh có thể: - Đọc hội thoại về chủ đề tiết kiệm năng lượng, đọc hiểu một đoạn văn ngắn để xác định nội dung chính và trả lời các câu hỏi kiểm tra mức độ hiểu bài. - Nêu gợi ý, đề xuất giải pháp tiết kiệm năng lượng và đáp lại (tán thành hoặc phản đối) các đề xuất, gợi ý. - Nghe thông tin về năng lượng mặt trời, xác định thông tin đúng/sai. - Soạn thảo một bài diễn văn đơn giản theo từ và cấu trúc của dàn bài gợi ý. 2.Ngôn ngữ : - Connectives: and, but, becáue, or, so, therefore, however - Phrasal verbs: turn off, turn on, look for, look after, go on, - Make suggestions: suggest+verb-ing, suggest (that) + S +should 3.Từ vựng: - reduce, suggest, drip, turn off, provide, save, replace, label, conserve, collect, ... - plumber, crack, pipe, shower, faucet, power, resource, consumer, innovation, appliance, efficiency,... - recent, enormous, solar, nuclear, ordinary, ultimately, solid ,... 4.DIVISION OF THE PERIOD: Period: 43 GETTING STARTED AND LISTEN AND READ. The aims of the lesson By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: Listen and read a dialogue to get the information about energy saving, read and understand a text to get main information and answer the questions 2. Skills :Listening and reading 3. Knowleges: + Standard : Read and understand the talk for general or detailed information about missions of the people in the group Answer the questions from 1 to 5 + Higher : Write a passage about what they did to clean the environment 4. Language contents: a.Vocabulary: recent, water bill, enormous, amount, plumber, crack, pipe, turn off, faucet, dripping. b.Structures : - Connectives - Phrasal verbs - Suggestions: suggest + V(ing) suggset (that) + S + should + V 5. Education: Educate ss to learn hard and do as much things as possible to save energy B. Preparations 1. Teacher: lesson plan, English 9-book, tape, cassette, pictures, extra boards 2.
