Competence and quality: 4.1. Competence: - General capacity:self-learning ability, communication capacity, capacity to use language, cooperation capacity,… - Specilized capacity:English language ability, develop self capacity,.. 4.2. Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period. b. Content: Active words and structures c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures d. Organization: 1.Warm up : (5’) Shark , s attack - Cut out a shark and a school girl / boy from card - Draw some steps , then stick the cut out girl / boy on the top of the steps , the sharks in the sea . - Draw 5 gaps for the word – favor T & Ss correct 2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’) a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words d. Organization: -TM: Play game, practising, discussion group, technical present…. -C: Co-operation, communication,… -Q: Love family, friends and country - Ask Ss the meanings of the word FAVOR *+ What do you say to ask for a favor ? *+ When do you ask for favor ? Need some help + How do you say to respond to favor ? *+ What does the receptionist say ? + What is for ? For offering assistance + another way to offer assistance ? + How do you say to respond to assistance ? - Ask Ss to copy down the following phrases Asking for favor Responding for favor * Can / Could you help me please ? * Could you do me a favor ? * I need a favor * Can / could you ..? * Certainly / of course / sure * No problem * What can I do for you ? * How can I help you ? * I am sorry . I am really busy - Ask Ss to repeat chorally and then individually all the phrases in the chart . 3. ACTIVITY 3: PRACTICE (20’) a. Aim: Helps students to speak and listen, understand the tasks b. Content: - answer the questions in the questionaire. c. Outcome: ss can do the task correctly .
