The aims By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to read and understand the model letter and underline the structures of the letter and the write a letter of inquiry ( a formal letter) 2. Knowleges: + Standard : Read and understand the model letter and underline the structures of the letter + Higher : Write about a letter of inquiry using the outline 4. Language contents: a.Vocabulary: edition, detail, fee, look forward to, hear. b.Structures : Past simple, present simple, structures of a letter 5. Attitude: Educate ss to learn hard and be polite to older people B. Preparations 1. Teacher: lesson plan, English 9-book, projector. 2. Students: review the grammar points and vocabulary, a sheet of white paper C. Techniques: -Asking and answering; Rub out and remember. D. Procedures: I.Organization(1’) Class Date of teaching Absent students 9A 9B II. check the old lesson (5’) New words, exercises III.New lesson Teacher’s and student’s activities -T. lets Ss play the games. - Ss . play the games - Divide the class into two teams. T- whole class Ask students from 2 teams to go to the board and write the correct words. - The team which is faster with more correct words will win the game. -T. sets the sence of the words -T. explains how to pronounce the words -Ss.
