The aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know the names of parts of the Body and descride the body. 2. Language focus * Vocab : a head, a shoulder, an arm, a hand , a finger , a chest , a leg , a foot - feet , a toe * Grammar:Simple present tense: What is that ?- That is his head. What arte those? Those are ……… 3.Skills: Intergrated skills 4. The knowledge:. + Standard knowledge: What is that? - That's his head. - What are those? – Those are his shoulders. + Advanced knowledge: descride the body. . 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to get nouns to talk about parts of the body. B/ Preparations: 1/ Teacher: Text-book, lesson plan, picture , radio, ... 2/Students: Text-books, notebooks, pen, exercise book... Ss: Give their ideas. - T: Set the scene : “Today , we’ll learn the words about our body. III/ New lesson: (32-36') Teacher’s & Students’ activities T Contents  Presentation: * Pre - teach vocab : -T elicits by using the picture and real things. Ss: Look , listen and say out the words. -T: Asks and models the words twice and asks ss to listen and repeat chorally, individually. Ss: Listen and repeat chorally and individually. T: Write the words on the board, gives meaning and the stress. - Asks ss to copy down. Ss:Say again the meaning and stress-copy. * Check vocab: Matching. -T. shows the pictures and asks ss to match * Set the sence: -T gives the picture on p96 and asks: + Who is that ? +Is that a boy or girl ? Ss: look and asnwer.  Practice ( picture drill ) -T: shows the pictures - Ss: look at the pictures -T:Models the qs and answer Ss: Look, listen and repeat - T Calls one ss to ptactice with T. Asks the students to practice asking and answering in pairs. Ss: Practice in pairs T:Call on some pairs to check and correct. Ss: Point and say the parts of the Body.  Production: (pair work) -T Asks ss to work in pairs to ask and answer about the parts of the body of their partner. The aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use Adj to describe Physical Appearance. 2. Language focus * Vocab : tall / short , fat , thin , heavy , light ……….. * Grammar:Simple present tense: She is short/ He is tall. 3. Skills: Intergrated skills 4. The knowledge:. + Standard knowledge: She is short. ( S + be + Adj/ N) + Advanced knowledge: descrbing the people 5. Objectives: 1.Aims : By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to get Face vocabulary ( nouns and adjectives ) to describe faces 2. Practice skill: - Practice listening skill,writing, speaking skill. reading skill 3. The knowledge needs to get:. + Standard knowledge: - Describe: She has an oval face. - Ask and answer: What color is her hair? - It's dark. What color are her lips ? -They are red. + Advanced knowledge: listen and draw about faces. 4. Basic language: * Vocab:eyes, ears, lips, nose, mounth, teeth, hair, round, oval, full, thin, long, short. * LF; - Describe: She has an oval face. - Ask and answer: What color is her hair? - It's dark. What color are her lips ? -They are red. 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to get Face vocabulary ( nouns and adjectives ) to describe faces B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster. C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Pelmanism, matching, W & W, Wordsquare, listen and draw. D. Procedure : I: organization : - Greeting - Number students Class Date of teaching Absent student Teacher’s activities Ss’ activities II : warm up ( 7m) Pelmanism - Prepare 10 cards with numbers on one side and the ss work in two groups adjectives on the others - Make sure the adjectives are antonymous - Stick the cards on the board so students can only see the numbers. Devide students into two teams ans ask them to choose two numbers. Turn the cards over and see if they match. If not, turn the cards over again and ask the next team. - Continue until all the cards are turned over fat thin tall short heavy light noisy quiet big small III : New lesson : 1. Presentation : * pre teach vocab : - eyes (n ) : mắt hair (n ): túc ss : choral / individual - ears (n ): tai nose (n ): mũi repetition - lips (n ) : mụi mouth (n ) : miệng write down - teeth (n ): răng Checking vocab: what and where - Have ss repeat the words in chorus then rub out word by word but leave the circles. Remember to let ss repeat before and after rubbing out each word. Ss listen and repeat - Go on until ss can remember the words - Get ss to write the words again in the correct circles ss play in two groups * Match : - T draw a big face on the board - Ask ss to re- label the pictures ss label one by one 2.
