The aims By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to read a passage to get specific and detailed information about exchange students. 2. Skills : + Reading : Drill reading comprehension skills to get specific and detailedinformation about exchange students + Writing : Write the summary about exchange students 3. Knowleges: + Standard : Read and know about exchange students: study, work, time... + Higher : Write a similar passage about another exchange student in England 4. Language contents: a.Vocabulary: exchange student, maize, work part time, grocery store, nearby, baseball, hot dog. b.Structures : past simple, the passive, present ferfect 5. Attitude: Educate ss to learn hard and work hard to help their parents everyday. B. Techniques: -Asking and answering; net-work, guessing games C. Teaching aids: - Student Palmtop, Street map. D. You work in pairs and have a guess about the differences between life on American farms and Vietnamese ones.) Matching: - Ask students to work in pairs, read the text match the words in column A with the explanation in column B. While -Writing : (15’) It was a beautiful day, my friends and I decided to go on a picnic. We took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 20 minutes to the picnic site next to the river. We put down the blanket and laid out the food. After meal we played the games "What song is it?' and blind man's buff. Late in the afternoon we went fishing. We enjoyed our picnic. When we look at the time, it was nearly 6.30 pm. We hurriedly gathered our things and ran to the bus stop. We were lucky to catch the last bus and we arrived home very late in the evening Step 3.Post Writing(8’) Describing .
