Objectives: - Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to review all the passive forms and do all the exercises using these grammar items and revise for the final exam. - Skills: Writing. - Attitudes: Ss have serious attitude in the review grammatical knowledge. - Competencies:self-study,using language,creativeness,self-study,co-operation. Ss can do all exercises well. B. Preparations 1. Teacher: lesson plan, English 8-book, computer, projectors 2. Students: review the grammar points and vocabulary structures.. C. Procedure: 1. Activity 1. Warm up (2’) a. Aim: review some vocabulary and past participle (P2) b. Content: Pelmanism c. Outcome: memorize the words d. Organization: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities I. Production (10') - Have Ss read a passage then answer the questions. Among the festivals celebrated by some of Asian people is the Moon Cake Festival, also known as the Mid August Festival. Large numbers of small round moon cakes are eaten on this day, and children enjoy carrying colorful paper lanterns come in all shapes: the more popular ones are shaped brightest on the night of the Moon Cake Festival. Suggested list of food: chicken, beef, cake, candy, garlic, noodles, bread, rice, ham, peas. - Praise the winner - Write down 5 things that one can eat on the notebooks. - Listen to the teacher and cross the words the teacher read then shout “Bingo” if can cross out the five things first. 2. Activity 2. Presentation (10’) a. Aim: review reported speech, change from direct into indirect speech. b. Content: forms, examples c. Outcome: ss can change from direct into indirect speech. d. Presentation ( 13') Reported speech - Ask Ss to tell how to change from direct into indirect speech. - Retell the form of statement and Yes/ No question Ex: Tom said “I like reading books”. --> Tom said he liked reading books. Ex: “Do you go to school ?” he said. --> He asked me whether/ if I went to school. - how to change from direct into indirect speech. + change tense (one tense back) + change personal pronouns + change adverbs of places and time. - the form of statement. direct: S + said + clause indirect: S + said + (that) + S + V(one tense back) - the form of yes/ no question S + asked + O + if/ whether + S + V(one tense back) 3.Activity 3: Practice (20’) a.
