Activity 2: Practice (25’) a.Aims: helps Ss practce Adverb clauses of concession b.Contents:do exercises. c.Outcome:Ss’answers. d.Organization: Adverb clauses of concession Language focus 3 Set the scene : Thu Ha is not satisfied with her preparations for Tet. Thu Ha has decorated her house and made plenty of cakes. - Ask Ss to combine two sentences above into one by using a connective( even though) + Meaning : mặc dù - Have Ss do language focus 3 exercise individually, using though, although or even or though - Get feedback and correct. * Language Focus 4 - Run through the pictures. Have Ss look as the pictures on page 72-73 and complete the sentences, using correct tense of the verb.
