Competences: - Introducing people. - Making and responding to introduction. 3.Skills: Speaking: - Make and respond to formal requests, offers and promises - Express personal feelings Listening: Students will be able to: Listen for specific information about what is happening at hospital. Reading : Read for instructions about the situations which require first – aid. Writing : Students will be able to: Write a thank-you note / a set of instructions within 70-80 words using suggested questions and pictures / word cues 4. The aims of the lesson 1. Knowledge By the end of the lesson ss will be able to listen and read a dialogue between Lan and a nurse of Bach Mai hospital on the phone for general or detailed information - + Vocabulary: emergency(n) ; ambulance(n); wound (n); concious(a) ; bleed(v); fall (v); hit(v) ; asleep(a); awake (a) + Structures : - “Will” to make requests, offers and promises - In order to, so as to, … - Future simple 2. Skills: - Practice listening, reading skill. 3. Attitude: - Educate ss to learn hard and know how to do in the situations which require first aid. B. Warm up (5’) Getting started - Have Ss play game Kim’s game - Have Ss open their books and look at the things on page 80 (20’’). Skills Listening 3. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to listen to a text describing an emergency room B. Preparations 1.Teacher : posters, computer, speaker, projector. 2.
