Aims: - Further practice with "too and either/ So and neither." - By the end of the lesson ,Ss will be able to have further practice with "too and either/ So and neither." 2. Practice skill: - practice writing and speaking skill . 3. The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge: Further practice with "too and either/ So and neither." + Advanced knowledge: Do a reading exercise. 4. Basic language: - The tense: simple present tense, past simple tense . 5. Attitude: - Help ss to have good consciousness in order to do some exercises B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks, extraboard. C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work D. They don’t , either. Neither do they. - Have Ss practice the dialogues in pairs . - Call on some pairs to practice in front the class . Have Ss play a game : Noughts and Crosses - Ask Ss to write in the notebooks . ( 3 + 4). - Remark and ask Ss to write sentences in the notebooks. EX: S1: I like mangoes . S2: So do I / I do , too . S1: I don’t like bananas . S2 : I don’t , either / Neither do I . 3/. Read the passage. Then answer the questions: My name is Huy and fishing is my favorite sport. I often fish for two hours without catching anything. But this does worry me. Some fishermen are unlucly. Instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish. I am even less lucky, I never catch anything, not even old boots. After spending the whole morning on the river, I always go home with an empty bag. “You should give up fishing”, my friends say,.“It’s a waste time”. The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge: Read the text for details about ten most popular sports of the teenagers in the USA; talk about the popular sports of Vietnamese teenagers. + Advanced knowledge: Recall A1; talk about their favorite sports. 4. Basic language: - Vocabulary: skateboarding , roller- skating , rollerblading, football (American Football) , baseball. - structure: Adverbs at the beginning of sentences (Surprisingly,......) 5.
