Competences - improve listening, reading skills and language focus - develop the ability to communicate and cooperate with their partners, to self - study, to solve problems and other skills 3. Quality: - have positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities. II. TEACHING AIDS AND LEARNING MATERIALS. Lesson plan, PPT slides, Student’s book, workbook, notebook, personal computer (if any), projector/ TV, speakers, DCR & DHA on Eduhome, CD player, handouts… III. PROCEDURE A. Activity 1: Warm up (5’) a) Objective: The objective of this activity is to help Sts relax b) Content: Chatting c) Product: Students can know more about some natural wonders of Vietnam. d) Competence: Observation e) Organization of the activity: Teacher's and Students’ activities Contents - T has some Ss share their plans for a trip this summer. - Other Ss can make questions if they want. - T reviews the things to bring, adds more, if necessary, then leads to new lesson. - Ss answer. - T leads to the new lesson. B. Activity 2: Listening (10’) a) Objective: To help students listen for specific information. b) Content: Listening and matching c) Products: Students will understand some information about a camping trip, listen for details d) Competence: Collaboration, communication, analytical and synthesizing skills e) Organization of the activity: Teacher's and Students’ activities Contents * Pre - listening: - T introduces the topic and explains the listening task. - Ss listen * While- listening: - T plays the audio CD2 - 70 twice. - Ss listen - T plays the audio again - Ss listen and share the answers with their partners. - T plays the audio the last time. - Ss give the answer. - T gives feedback and corrects if necessary. * Post - listening: - T has Ss share what they will bring on a camping trip - Ss present in front of the class. - T gives feedback. a. OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, Sts will be able to… 1. Knowledge - compare homes now and in the future - discuss and give advice where the people should live - get someone’s attention into a conversation and choose the suitable answers 2. Competences - improve their English skills - develop the ability to communicate, to self-study, to solve problems and other skills 3. Quality - have a positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities - express the opinions and give the choices on homes now and in the future II.
