Knowledge + The aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: Express agreement and disagreement. +Vocabularies: challenging, time - consuming, a musing, adjust , knob, disagree, agree, screen, triangles, insert coins, press button. + Grammar: Review 2. Skills: - Practice listening, speaking, reading, writing. 3. Attitude: - Help ss to have good consciousness in order to express agreement and disagreement. B. Preparations 1.Teacher: posters, computer, speaker, projector 2. Students: Unit 15 Speak C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Slap the board, grid D. Procedure : I. Organization: (1’) - Greeting Class Date of teaching absent students 8A Activities Contents 2. Cheecking ( 5 ms) ? Write new words and answer T’s questions. - T leads into new lesson. 3. New lesson. Pre – Speaking(10 ms). ? Ask SS look at page 139,140. Listen to T and find out new words. - T guides SS to read new words. ? Call some SS read them again. While – Speaking ( 23 ms) ?Ask Ss work with a partner. Look at the table and the pictures. Take turns to express and respond to opinions about the activities in the pictures. - T guides SS to practice by example. ? Call some pairs to practice, others remark. - T corrects. Post – Speaking ( 5ms). ? Ask SS work in pairs to read the dialogue. Then change the role. ? Request SS work in pairs to make similar dialogues about these items. Use the information in the table in exercise 1. ? Call some pairs to make dialogues, others remark. - T corrects. -T repeats the contents of the speaking. -T repeats the contents of the listening. 4. Homework(2 ms). 1. Practice. Exercise 1: Work with a partner. Look at the table and the pictures. Take turns to express and respond to opinions about the activities in the pictures. Example: S1: I think computers are useful. S2: So do I/ I disagree. I think they are unnecessary. Suggested key: a) I think driving a car is easy. I disagree. I think it’s difficult to drive a car. b) Reading comic books is entertaining. Yes, but on the other hand it’s very time – consuming. c) Running and playing in the rain is much fun. I disagree with you because you can get cold in the rain for a long time. d) I think foreign food I delicious. So do I. French fries is my favourite one. Exercise 2: - Read the dialogue. - Make similar dialogues about these items. Use the information in the table in exercise 1. Example: S1: I'm having problems with my mouse. S2: What's wrong? S1: It doesn't work. I think it’s broken. S2: Let me see. No, you should check the Plug. It can be loose. It’s OK now. S1: Thank you. Homework - Learn by heart new words and grammar. The aims of the lesson 1. Knowledge + The aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to listen about papermaking to do some exercise. +Vocabulary: facsimile, X-ray, reinforced, loudspeaker, microphone, helicopter, laser, optical fiber, procedure, drain, pulp, roller, vat. + Grammar: Review 2. Skills: - Practice listening, speaking, reading, writing. 3. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to listen about papermaking to do some exercise. B. Preparations 1.Teacher: posters, computer, speaker, projector 2. Students: Unit 15 Speak C.
