Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period. b. Content: the traditional costumes of some countries . c. Outcome: Decide where each person comes from d. Organization: 1. Warm up: Quiz - Divide class into groups. Ask them to look at the clothes people are wearing and take turn to decide where each person comes from. T : Where does the women in picture a come from? S1: She comes from Japan T: How do you know she comes from japan? S1: Because she is wearing a Kimono. - The group who give the correct answer gets a point 2. ACTIVITY 2: PRESENTATION (15’) a. Aim: Students can memorize some new words b. Content: vocabulary, set the scene, structures c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words d. Organization: 2. Presentation * Preteach vocab: - Elicits and models -Ask Ss to repeat chorally and individually . - Check R . O. R -Copy in note book *Set the scene: You are going to read the text about the traditional dress of Vietnam * True or false prediction statement: - Ask Ss to guess true or false while closing the book -Ss work in pairs 3. Often worn as a top and bottom set, the áo bà ba is typically a long-sleeved, button-down silk shirt with a scooped neck paired with silk pants.
