Mô tả: Date of planning: 25/8/2017 Period:4 UNIT 1 GREETINGS Lesson 3: B1- 4 (P. 14- 16) A. Objectives: 1. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use: - “ Good morning / afternoon / evening....” to greet each other. - “ We are ....” to talk about us. - Numbers 11 – 15 2. Practice skill: - Practice listening skill,writing and speaking skill. 3. The knowledge needs to get: + Standard knowledge: - Greet people. - Ask how people are. + Advanced knowledge: + Ordering numbers. 4. Basic language: * Vocab:We are, we're = we are children. good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night, good bye good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night, good bye. * L.F: Ask how people are with "you" - "we" 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to use: - “ Good morning / afternoon / evening....” to greet each other. - “ We are ....” to talk about us. B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster. C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Slap the board, Dialogue Build, Picture Drill, ordering. D. Procedure : I. Vocab: - - T elicits the new words. - Good morning: xin chào (buổi sáng ) (picture-situation) - Good afternoon : xin chào ( buổi chiều ) - Good evening: xin chào (buổi tối ) - Good night : chúc ngủ ngon - Goodbye = bye: chào tạm biệt - children (n) : trẻ em , học sinh (situation) - Checking vocabulary: Slap the board. 2.Dialogue Build: . . . . - - - - Good morning, children - Good morning, Miss Hoa - How are you ? - We are fine, thank you. - Fine, thanks. - How are you ? - Good bye - Good bye. - T reads model. - Pair work. - Ask sts go to the board to fill in the missing gaps. B3 ( p15) - T asks Ss to look at the picture and asks them some questions + How many Ss are there? ( 4) ( in vietnamese) + How many teachers are there ? (1) + What are they doing ? - T gets Ss to listen and repeat. - T calls some pairs to read in front of the class. Then asks them to read in pairs. Step 2. Practice. 18’ *Picture Drill: Use 4 pictures B2 p.15 - T models one picture , WC repeat chorally, then 2 pairs repeat. - Make sure Ss remember the exchange , T goes on other cues Example exchange: S1 : [Good morning ] ! S2 : [ Good morning ] ! *Writen Exercise: B4 ( p16) - T asks ss to look at the picture and asks them some questions. + Who are they? ( in vietnamese) + What are they doing ? ( // ) - Get Ss to fill suitable words in blanks. Answer key L: Good afternoon, Nga. N: Good afternoon, Lan. L: How are you ? N: I am fine, thanks. And you ? L: Fine, thanks N: Good bye. WEEK 2: Date of preparing : 25/8/2017 Period 5 UNIT 1 GREETINGS Lesson 4: C1-2 A/ Objectives: 1. Aims: -By the end of this lesson, ss will be able to use “How old are you? – I’m + ages.” To talk about the ages and contrast with “ How are you?”. - Ss can count from 1 to 20 correctly and fluently 2. Practice skill: - Practice listening skill,writing and speaking skill. 3. The knowledge needs to get: Use “How old are you? – I’m + ages.” + Standard knowledge: Use “How old are you? – I’m + ages.” + Advanced knowledge: 4. Basic language: *Vocabulary: -“How old are you” to talk about age and contrast with “How are you” -Number 16 to 20, and, minus,equal * Language - One and two is three. - Three minus two is/ equals one. 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to use “How old are you? – I’m + ages.” , count from 1 to 20 B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster. C.
