Thì tương lai đơn tiếng Anh - The future simple Eg: … 1. ĐN. Thì tương lai đơn trong tiếng Anh (Simple future tense) dùng khi không có kế hoạch hay quyết định làm gì trước khi nói. Chúng ta ra quyết định tự phát tại thời điểm nói. Cấu trúc Thì tương lai đơn: • S + will/shall + V-inf • S + will/shall + not + V-inf • Will/Shall + S + V-inf ? Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì tương lai đơn • Trạng từ chỉ thời gian • In + (thời gian): trong bao lâu (in 5 minutes: trong 5 phút) • Tomorrow: ngày mai • Next day/ next week/ next month/ next year: ngày tới, tuần tới, tháng tới, năm tới. • Soon: sớm thôi • Trong câu có những động từ chỉ quan điểm • Think/ believe/ suppose/ assume…: nghĩ/ tin/ cho là • Promise: hứa • Hope, expect: hi vọng/ mong đợi 3. Cách dùng 3.1. Diễn tả 1 quyết định ngay thời điểm nói Ví dụ: 3.2. Diễn tả 1 dự đoán không có căn cứ rõ ràng Ví dụ: - I guess Jim won’t tell the truth (Tôi nghĩ Jim sẽ không nói sự thật đâu.) 3.3. Dùng để đưa ra lời mời hoặc yêu cầu 3.4. Đưa ra một lời hứa Ví dụ: - I promise I will be home on time (Tôi hứa là tôi se về nhà đúng giờ.) 3.5. Đưa ra lời cảnh báo 3.6. Đưa ra lời đề nghị giúp đỡ 3.7. Đưa ra lời gợi ý hoặc ý tưởng nào đó Ví dụ: - Shall we have Korean food? (Chúng ta ăn đồ Hàn nhé!) 3.8. Khái niệm Thì quá khứ đơn (Past simple tense) dùng để diễn tả một hành động, sự việc diễn ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ. Ví dụ: • We went shopping yesterday. (Ngày hôm qua chúng tôi đã đi mua sắm) • He didn’t come to school last week. (Tuần trước cậu ta không đến trường.) 2. Cấu trúc thì quá khứ đơn 2.1. Công thức thì quá khứ đơn với động từ “TO BE” 2.1.1. Thể khẳng định Cấu trúc: S + was/ were +… Trong đó: S (subject): Chủ ngữ Lưu ý: • S = I/ He/ She/ It/ Danh từ số ít + was • S = We/ You/ They/ Danh từ số nhiều + were Ví dụ: • I was at my uncle’s house yesterday afternoon. (Tôi đã ở nhà bác tôi chiều hôm qua) • They were in Hanoi on their summer vacation last month. (Họ đã ở Hà Nội vào kỳ nghỉ hè tháng trước.) 2.1.2. Thể phủ định Cấu trúc: S + was/ were + not Lưu ý: • was not = wasn’t • were not = weren’t Ví dụ: • He wasn’t at home last Monday. (Anh ấy đã không ở nhà thứ Hai trước.) • We weren’t happy because our team lost. (Chúng tôi không vui vì đội của chúng tôi đã thua.) 2.1.3. Thể nghi vấn Câu hỏi Yes/No question Cấu trúc: Was/ Were + S +…? Trả lời: • Yes, S + was/ were. • No, S + wasn’t/ weren’t. Ví dụ: • Were you sad when you didn’t get good marks? => Yes, I was./ No, I wasn’t. Câu hỏi WH- question Cấu trúc: WH-word + was/ were + S (+ not) +…? Trả lời: S + was/ were (+ not) +…. Ví dụ: • What was the weather like yesterday? (Hôm qua thời tiết như thế nào?) • Why were you sad? (Tại sao bạn buồn?) • 2.2. Thì quá khứ đơn với động từ thường 2.2.1. Thể khẳng định Cấu trúc: S + V2/ed +… Trong đó: • S (Subject): Chủ ngữ • V2/ed: Động từ chia thì quá khứ đơn (theo quy tắc hoặc bất quy tắc) Ví dụ: • I went to the stadium yesterday to see watch the football match. (Tôi đã tới sân vận động ngày hôm qua để xem trận đấu.) • We visited Australia last summer. (Chúng tôi du lịch nước Úc mùa hè trước.) 2.2.2. Thể phủ định Cấu trúc: S + did not + V (nguyên mẫu) Lưu ý: did not = didn’t Ví dụ: • They didn’t accept our offer. (Họ không đồng ý lời đề nghị của chúng tôi.) • She didn’t show me how to open the computer. (Cô ấy không cho tôi thấy cách mở máy tính.) 2.2.3. Thể nghi vấn Câu hỏi Yes/ No question Cấu trúc: Did + S + V (nguyên thể)? Trả lời: Yes, S + did./No, S + didn’t. Ví dụ: • Did you bring her the package? (Bạn đã mang gói hàng cho cô ấy phải không?) => Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. • Did Cristiano play for Manchester United? (Có phải Cristiano từng chơi cho Manchester United không?) => Yes, he did./ No, he didn’t. Câu hỏi WH- question Cấu trúc: WH-word + did + S + (not) + V (nguyên mẫu)? Trả lời: S + V-ed +… Ví dụ: • What did you do last Sunday? (Bạn đã làm gì Chủ nhật trước?) • Why did she break up with him? (Tại sao cô ấy lại chia tay anh ta?) II. Past Continuous Quá khứ tiếp diễn (Past continuous) thường được sử dụng để diễn tả, nhấn mạnh quá trình của sự việc hoặc hành động. Nó còn thể hiện tính chất của một sự việc kéo dài trong quá khứ và không còn tiếp diễn ở hiện tại. Cấu trúc Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn: • S + was/were + V-ing • S + wasn’t/ weren’t + V-ing • Was/ Were + S + V-ing ? Cách dùng thì quá khứ tiếp diễn • Dùng để diễn tả một hành động xảy ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ. Ví dụ: Ann was watching a cartoon at 10 P.M yesterday. (Ann đang xem hoạt hình lúc 10 giờ tối qua). Dùng để diễn tả hai hành động cùng xảy ra đồng thời trong quá khứ. Thường đi kèm “while” Ví dụ: While they were preparing for the party, she was sleeping. (Khi mọi người đang chuẩn bị cho bữa tiệc thì cô ấy đang ngủ). Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra thì có hành động khác xen vào. Thường đi kèm “when”. Hành động kéo dài hơn dùng thì QKTD, hành động xen vào dùng QKĐ. • Ví dụ: It rained when I was planting a tree. (Tôi đang trồng cây thì trời đổ mưa). • Diễn tả hành động được lặp đi lặp lại trong quá khứ gây ảnh hưởng (làm phiền) đến người khác. Thường để phàn nàn. Thường đi kèm “always” Ví dụ: When he lived here, he was always making noise. (Khi anh ta sống ở đây, anh ta luôn gây ồn ào). Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì quá khứ tiếp diễn Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì quá khứ tiếp diễn là trong câu xuất hiện các trạng từ chỉ thời gian như: • At + Giờ + Thời gian trong quá khứ (at 10 o’clock last night,…) • At this time + Thời gian trong quá khứ (at this time two days ago,…) • In + Năm (in 1999, in 2020) • In the past (trong quá khứ) Ví dụ: It rained when I went for a walk yesterday. (Trời đổ mưa khi tôi đang đi dạo ngày hôm qua). Write the correct form of the verbs. (Viết dạng đúng của động từ.) 1. James was playing football in the yard when he _______ (see) a UFO. 2.
