Objectives: 1.Aims : By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to further practice in likes and dislikes ( simple present tense) , adjectives, question words, present progressive , quantifiers, ... 2. Practice skill: - Practice writing, speaking skill. reading skill 3. The knowledge needs to get:. + Standard knowledge: simple present tense) , adjectives, question words, present progressive , quantifiers, ... + Advanced knowledge: Ask and answer using quantifiers. 4. Basic language: * Vocab: *Language focus: simple present tense) , adjectives, question words, present progressive , quantifiers, ... 5. Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to use the simple present tense), adjectives, question words, present progressive , quantifiers, ... B. Teaching- aids: Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster. C. Methods: - Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work - Some techniques can be used: Find someone who, Lucky numbers D. T. reminds the way to use the present simple tense. Form: a) Affamative. Ex : I like an orange. He likes an orange. Verbs go with the third singuler subject, we have to add “s,es” after the verb. b) Negative. In the negative sentences, we have to add “do or does” before verb. Ex : I don’t like an orange. He doesn’t like an orange. c) Yes/ no question. Ex : Do you like an orange? Yes, I do Does he like an orange? No, he doesn’t. - Do exercese 1a, 1b on the page 122. a. – Do you like noodles ? b) Does she like chicken ? - Yes, I like noodles Yes, she likes chicken. - Do you like rice ? Does she like fish ? - No, I do not like rice. No, she doesn’t like fish. Ex 2. Likes and dislikes ( simple present tense) - Find someone who ss work in groups of 5 Find someone who ...likes fish ...Doesn’t like chicken ...Likes bread ...doesn’t like rice ...doesn’t like soda ...doesn’t like vegetables Name Activity 2: a, an, some, any. T. asks Ss to remind the way to use “a, an, some, any”. + a, an are used with countable nouns, but only with singular noun. + some and any are used with both countable and uncountable nouns. With countable nouns they only go with plural nouns. Net words: ss work in three groups Sandwich orange fish Banana apple noodles ss work individually Ss do exercise 2 Page 122. Activity 3:Adjective. T. reminds the way to use adjective. * Pelmanism: - Prepare 10 cards with numbers on one side and the ss work in two groups countries and their cities on the others - Make sure the countries and their cities are mixed up. - Stick the cards on the board so students can only see the numbers. Devide students into two teams ans ask them to choose two numbers. Turn the cards over and see if they match. If not, turn the cards over again and ask the next team. - Continue until all the cards are turned over tall long hot fat heavy weak short short cold thin light strong - Ss listen and do exercise 3-P 122 Activity 4. Progressive tense: - Ask ss to remind the form and use of the progressive tense. + Form: S + is/ am/ are + V- ing + Use: Thì hiện tại tiếp dùng để diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra ở hiện tại( ngay khi đang nói) Nó thường đi kèm với các từ hoặc cụm từ chỉ thời gian như: now (bây giờ), right now( ngay bây giờ), at present ( lúc này), at the moment ( vào lúc này), ... hoặc câu bát đầu với: Look!, Listen!, Be quiet!,... I.Cấu trúc cuả thi` HTÐ va` HTTD HTÐ HTTD + S + V(s/es) Ex: He phays football. S + am/is/are + V-ing Ex: The children are playing football now. - S + do not/ does not + V(infi) Ex: She doesn’t play tennis. II.Cách sử dụng thì HTĐ và thì HTTD HTĐ HTTD a. Diẽn tả một thói quen, mọt hành động xảy ra thường xuyên lặp đi lặp lại ở hiẹn tại. Ex: - He watches TV every night. - What do you do every day? - I go to school by bicycle. b. Diẽn tả một chân lý, một sự thật hiẻn nhien. Ex: - The sun rises in the East. - Tom comes from England. - Iam a student. c. Diẽn tả mọt lịch trình có sẵn, thời khoá biẻu, chương trình. Ex: The plane leaves for London at 12.30pm a. Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra tại hiện tại. Ex: - The children are playing football now. - What are you doing at the moment? b. Dùng theo câu đề nghị, mệnh lệnh Ex: - Look! The child is crying. - Be quiet! The baby is sleeping in the next room. Lưu ý: Không dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn với các đọng từ chỉ nhận thức, tri giác như: to be, see, hear, understand, know, like, want, glance, feel, think, smell, love, hate, … Với các động từ này, ta thay bằng thì HTĐ. Ex: - Iam tired room. - She wants to go for a walk at the moment.
