Competence: - General capacity:self-learning ability, communication capacity, capacity to use language, cooperation capacity,… - Specilized capacity:English language ability, develop self capacity,.. 3. Quality: Educate Ss to know more about some activities of the young and youth organization. Love family and country, willing to participate in social activities, live humanty, cooperate with people around,… II.Preparation: 1, Teacher's: text book, teacher’s book, sub-boards, pictures, cues .2, Students': text book, note book, chalks, pens III.Procedures Teacher’s and students’ activities Content ACTIVITY 1 (WARM-UP) (5’) a. Aim: Set the scene, lead students to the main part of the period. b. Content: Active words and structures c. Outcome: Ss’ understanding, ability of using the words and structures d. Organization: 1. Content: the notice “ To : All Y and Y members of the school “ c. Outcome: students can read and write the new words d. Organization: Introduce the topic of the writing and some new words to Ss . a . Pre – teach vocabulary : . Rub out and remember b. Reading the notice - Ask Ss to read the notice “ To : All Y and Y members of the school “ - Ask some questions to check their understanding a. What do members of the Y and Y have to do in the recycling program ? b. What is the purpose of the recycling program ? c. What other programs can members of the Y and Y participate in ? - Get Ss to work in pairs to answer the questions . - Give feedback and ask them to practice in open pairs . c. What are they doing to earn money for their school Y&Y ? - Call on some Ss to demonstrate their answers in front of the class . 3. ACTIVITY 3: PRACTICE (20’) a. Aim: Helps students to speak and listen, understand the tasks b. Content: a letter to her parents c. Outcome: to write a letter on poster . d. Organization: - Ask Ss to help Hoa to write a letter to her parents . - Get Ss to work in group of 4 or 5 to write a letter on poster . - Move around the class and help then if they are necessary . 4. ACTIVITY 4: APPLICATION (5’) a. Aim: Stundents apply the knowledge they learnt in practice b. Content: letters c. Outcome: students’s talks d. Organization: - Choose four letters from 4 group and stick them on the board - Get the whole class to read the 4 letters and correct them . - Give feedback : Homework 1.
