Listen and cross out the one with the wrong word stress. Answer: rafting (stress is on the second syllable) d. Read the words with the correct stress to a partner. Eg: chatting, climbing, cooking C. Activity 3: Practice (15’) a) Objective: To make plans for a trip. b) Contents: - Practicing the conversation - Swapping roles and repeat - Practicing with their own ideas c) Product: Sts can use the language presented to make plans for a trip. d) Competence: Collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity e) Organization of the activity: Teacher's and Students’ activities Contents * Practice: - T sets the context for the speaking task. - Ss listen - T demonstrates the activity by practicing the role-play with a student. - St practices with T - T gets Ss to practice the conversation. - Ss practice in pairs - T asks Ss to swap the roles and repeat. - Ss swap roles to practice the conversation - T has Ss demonstrate the conversation - Ss present in front of the class. * Production - T has Ss practice the conversation with their own ideas and swap the roles. - Ss work in pairs - T calls on some pairs to present - Ss present in front of the class - T listens and gives feedback. a.
